From national bestselling author Rochelle Alers comes the powerful story of one woman and the secrets that will forever alter her vision of her family, her marriage, and herself.

Fleeing Baltimore to tend to her mother's estate in Salvation, Georgia, Morgana finds comfort in the company of her Uncle Julian and in the diaries her mother left hidden in the attic.

Shocked by her mother's most private thoughts and confused about both her illusions of her own childhood and the fate of her marriage, Morgana is drawn to local artist Erick Wilson, with whom she shares the kind of intimacy she and her husband have lost along the way. The connection grows deep, and by the time all of her mother's secrets are revealed, Morgana has a few secrets of her own...secrets of the heart, mind, and body that need never be told.

End of story. I immediately changed my mind and felt that the book lived well up to it's title. For a moment I was hoping for a sequel.

This was a story well written and quite captivating. Also, the way the story ended kind of left somethings to the reader's imagination. Once again, this was another page turner by Rochelle.

Especially Uncle Julian's so called secret. From the moment I started reading, I couldn't put the book down.

What I found most interesting was Katherine's Journal.

Morgana goes home to bury her mother and discoveries these wonderful diaries which gives her a glimpse into another side of her mother. These diaries also helped Morgana to come to terms with her own marriage to Franklin. My girlfriend recommended this book to me and boy I'm glad that she did. Which is not an easy task when one is confronted with infidelity. I liked the way that Ms. I finished this book in two days. Alers jumped back and forth from the present to the past which is not an easy task for a writer.

Alers took addressing this topic was superb. Let me start off by saying that I love the book. Good read. I will derfinitely recommend this book to any and everybody I know. When you think about relationships, you have to realize that relationships are not going to be perfect. And i think that the approach that Ms.

Rochelle is one of my favorite writers and I would like to take this time to Thank and encourage her to keep up the "GOOD" work. I expected her to admit to her Uncle Julian after reading her Mother's journals that she knew who he really was to her. She had the Perfect blend of characters to take this book to many levels of suspence and surprise. I enjoyed this story from start to finish, as I have all of the others stories written by Rochelle. I can't wait for the next book, but what choice do I have. I found myself waking up in the wee hours of the morning BEFORE the alarm would go off just to connect again with Katherine on her quest to find herself after experiencing the loss her Mom and Marriage on the same evening and proving that most times you "HAVE TO" LOSE in order to GAIN. I couldn't put this book down. I could relate with EVERY Joy, Hurt and Triumph.
